Oil drilling and production grade xanthan gum is an efficient,high-quality,and environmentally friendly oil drilling and production mud additive.It has a wide range of applications and strong resistance to temperature,acid,alkali,and salt. It can significantly improve the permeability of the mud and the ability to suspend solid substances,reduce pressure during drilling,stabilize the wellbore,and reduce damage to the reservoir,thereby significantly improving the efficiency of drilling,well repair,and completion work.This product has excellent mud additives.It can maintain stability for a long time under saturated saline water and a temperature of 85.Therefore,it is an ideal oil displacement agent for high-temperature and high salt oilfields.

Performance

Xanthan gum can greatly increase its penetration and suspension properties towards small solid materials,reducing pressure loss during drilling.While accelerating drilling,xanthan gum also reduces damage to the oil reservoir.Xanthan gum can also improve the efficiency of drilling,cementing,and completion.

As a bio drilling additive,petroleum drilling grade xanthan gum improves the extraction of crude oil and the utilization of natural resources.Most importantly,this product can protect the  natural environment as much as possible.

Usage

Xanthan gum has strong hydrophilicity.When it enters water,its outermost layer comes into contact with water,immediately absorbing a large amount of water,expanding in volume to form micelles,preventing other  water from entering the inner layer and preventing xanthan gum from exerting its function.Therefore,the correct method should be adopted.

1.Take one portion of xanthan gum and mix it with ten or more other dry ingredients,such as sugar,salt,or glutamic acid salt,as a powder.Then slowly pour it into the stirring water and continue stirring until it dissolves.

2.After dissolving xanthan gum in an appropriate proportion of water and treating it with a colloid mill,the ideal homogenization effect can be achieved.
